Electronic Recycling
Electronic recycling is the process of recovering usable components and materials from end-of-life electronics. Equipment that still has some residual value is often resold, refurbished, or repurposed instead of being discarded as waste. By recycling electronics, we reduce the amount of e-waste in the environment and conserve resources by extracting valuable commodities and materials that can be used in new products.
e-Waste Recycling
E-waste, a term commonly used for electronic waste, refers to the discarded electronic devices that are no longer functional. These devices consist of hazardous chemicals and materials that pose a threat to the environment if not disposed of correctly. The solution to this problem lies in electronic recycling, which involves extracting valuable commodities and materials from old electronics to be used in the production of new devices.
Information Security and Data Destruction
All private information pertaining to business or otherwise will be removed. Hard drives undergo a process that includes formatting and degaussing as well as physical destruction to ensure no data is leaked.
Hard Drive Sanitation
Destruction of all data on the hard drive using software based programs. This wipes the drive to Department of Defense (DOD) standards. Hard drive sanitation using software-based programs is a method of securely wiping or erasing sensitive data from a hard drive. The process involves using specialized software to overwrite the existing data on the hard drive multiple times, making it virtually impossible for the data to be recovered.
Hard Drive Destruction
We specialize in destroying data on a wide range of data-bearing devices, such as hard drives, media drives, SD cards, cell phones, and more. Our destruction process reduces solid state data devices into tiny particles, ensuring that your confidential information remains secure. Hard drive destruction is considered the most secure method of data destruction, as it physically destroys the hard drive and makes it impossible to access the data stored on it.
Certificates of Recycling/Destruction
We collect your equipment and assume the title. No longer your responsibility. A Certificate of Destruction and Recycling is a guarantee that all data has been completely destroyed, and that any remains have been properly disposed of, protecting you from the risk of information theft that could lead to data breach and identity theft.
Serial Number Collection
If necessary, we can collect/scan the serial numbers off of the units recycled. Serial number collection is a crucial aspect in the electronic recycling industry as it provides a means of tracking devices, deters theft and fraud, and ensures compliance with regulations. The unique identifier helps with the proper processing and disposal of electronic waste, the protection of sensitive data, and demonstrating responsible management.
